Worthy Kennels Health Guarantees, Services, and Contract.

We attempt to eliminate any possible genetic issues by choosing very healthy breeding stock.

We want to show you our consideration and respect for choosing one of our puppies in the case that any of these
problems ever show up, we wish to go beyond the usual in guaranteeing our puppies.

Worthy Kennels Health Guarantees:

We will NOT ask that a dog be returned
to us from a loving and safe home to
pay out a refund of the purchase price
or to give out a replacement puppy
of equal value.
 We feel that asking for
the return of your family member to
pay out a refund or give you a replacement is cruel and unreasonable.  Except in confirmed cases of
abuse...the only reason for a breeder to require the return of the dog is to prevent the need to make good
on the refund.

*If we are giving you a replacement puppy or a full money refund, we will require that you spay or neuter
your dog.

1.  A three year guarantee against hip and elbow dysplasia.

We offer either a full $ refund or a replacement puppy of equal value.  We will confer with you
concerning your choice of the two options.   Under most usual circumstances, you decide         which
option to take.  We will require that you spay or neuter the dog to receive a refund or replacement
dog.

2.  A two year guarantee against genetically caused diseases and defects which would prevent
the dog from
performing the duties and purposes for which he was purchased.

We offer you a full refund or a replacement
puppy of equal value.  We will confer with you
concerning your choice of the two options.

A full refund/replacement is offered for the
issues below, as an example, but not limited
to:

*Hip and elbow dysplasia.

*Severe and chronic debilitating allergies or
chronic severe stomach dysfunctions which
permanently  prevent the dog
from performing its intended duties and
functions.

*Genetic defects that prevent the dog from
breeding in a dog
Guaranteed to be a Breeding
Dog.

3.  A partial refund for genetically caused diseases and defects which do NOT prevent the
dog from performing its intended duties and functions but which are considered very
serious.

For example, but not limited to:

*A retained testicle in a dog which has a restricted registration, OR full registration but who
is NOT Guaranteed to be a Breeding dog.  Retained testicles cost several times the usual amount to
neuter the dog.

*A navel hernia that has not closed up by the age of eight months. (This may not actually be
genetic, the "jury" is still out on this one.) This is easily repaired when the dog is spayed or neutered at
the same time.

*A genetic issue like serious allergies, where the dog is more difficult to maintain and more expensive
than what it would be for a normal dog, though the dog is still able to perform it's  duties.  This would
require confirmation by veterinarian testing and written statement.

*If the ears of the dog do not stand by one year of age.  Though this is not a defect that prevents the dog
from performing the duties for which it was purchased, ears that are up give the pleasing appearance of
what is undeniably a GSD, and it is what the standard requires.

There are a few rare dogs whose ears will stand much later than the norm, whether you tape them or not.
We ask that you provide proof that you have properly taped the ears of your puppy if they do not stand by
five months of age to help them to stand.
A few chronologically taken pictures of the dog at 5, 6, and 7
months with its ears taped is sufficient proof.   We may ask for written conformation of the condition from
a second party, probably a veterinarian.  We will require you to spay or neuter the dog for a refund to be
paid out.
When a pup is going through teething, most pups ears will naturally go up and down, and this is
not cause for alarm.

We offer a partial refund to help you pay the added expense for a genetically caused defect.

Please confer with us concerning any issue the dog may have which is a serious problem and that your
veterinarian determines has a genetic cause.  You  may be eligible for a partial refund for your medical
expenses and difficulties.

Partial refunds will be UP TO $400 or 50% of the purchase price of the dog, whichever is the lesser
amount.  We will need to discuss the issue with your veterinarian and may need to have our
own veterinarian confirm the condition.

This dog is sold with a three year health guarantee from the date of birth against hip and elbow dysplasia in particular.

This does not include any environmentally related injuries that are derived from or is the direct result of: work related or
